Terms of Service
The terms for MYMU accounts, records, public sharing, location features, and international use.
Posted 2026-07-21 · Effective 2026-08-01
These Terms form an agreement between you and MYMU, operated by Younggun Park in the Republic of Korea. Contact: support@mymu.app.
1. The service
MYMU helps users discover exhibitions and venues, save plans, keep private visit records, and deliberately publish selected profiles, lists, records, or share links. Listings may be delayed, incomplete, or changed by a venue. Confirm dates, admission, accessibility, and rules with the venue before visiting. MYMU does not sell tickets or guarantee entry.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Self-service accounts require age 14 in Korea, 13 in the United States, 16 in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, and 18 in Japan and other regions under MYMU’s conservative product rule. We do not currently provide a parental-consent account path. You must select your actual region and truthfully confirm the displayed threshold before sign-in. You are responsible for your sign-in method, account activity, and accurate account information. Do not create an account for another person or evade a suspension.
3. Your content and license
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant MYMU a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, encode, and display it only as needed to operate, secure, back up, and provide the features you select. For public content, the license includes displaying and distributing it through the selected public page or link. It ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal retention, and copies independently saved by recipients.
Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not publish another person’s face, private information, copyrighted work, or sensitive facts without a valid basis or permission.
4. Acceptable use
Do not break the law; harass or impersonate others; scrape or bulk-copy the service; probe security; distribute malware or spam; manipulate rankings or analytics; misuse reports; or interfere with availability. Automated access requires prior written permission unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
5. Public links and moderation
Anyone with a public link may view and copy its contents. Review the preview before sharing and revoke the link when it is no longer needed. We may restrict or remove content, links, or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, service integrity, or legal compliance. Where practicable, we will explain material enforcement and provide a way to appeal by email.
6. Location features
Location is optional. Device permission can be withdrawn at any time, and the core record service remains available without precise location, although nearby discovery may be less useful. The separate Location-Based Service Terms govern these features.
7. Availability and changes
We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue a feature for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. We will provide reasonable advance notice for a material adverse change when practicable. Emergency maintenance and events outside reasonable control may occur without advance notice.
8. Ending use
You may stop using MYMU and delete your account in app Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation, a security threat, legal necessity, or prolonged inactivity under a separately announced retention policy. Account deletion removes content as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for venue changes, user content, third-party services, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury where applicable, or mandatory consumer rights.
10. Governing law and disputes
Korean law governs these Terms, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections in the place they live. Please contact support@mymu.app first so we can attempt an informal resolution. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable procedural and consumer law may hear unresolved disputes. We do not require individual arbitration or waive class remedies where such a term would be unlawful.
11. Changes to these Terms
We will post the new text, posted date, and effective date. Material adverse changes receive advance in-service or email notice when required. Continuing to use the service after the effective date signifies acceptance only to the extent permitted by law; where fresh consent is required, we will ask for it.
