<p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">팬더믹 이후, 예술은 무엇을 말할까?</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Love is the Key.&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">팬더믹을 겪으면서 세계적으로 같은 문제 앞에 직면하고 해결해 왔다.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">팬더믹이&nbsp; 끝난 지금 우리는 그 전으로 돌아간 걸까? 아니면 새로운 시대를 시작했는가?&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">코로나가 끝나면 모든 세계적 문제가 풀릴 것 같았지만 새로운 문제를 우리는 또 마주하고 있다. (전쟁, 경제 등등)</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">하지만 우리는 함께 싸워 나가고 있는가?</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">그 안에서 생겨나는 혐오, 분노가 있다. 링컨의 시대에는 흑인에 대한 인종차별과 관습(노예제도)이 있었다면 지금, 이 시대에는 다른 인종차별과 서로 다름에 대한 혐오가 존재한다. 그 분리와 다름에 대한 대립은 점점 더 세밀해지고 강해지고 있다. 세계적인 어려움을 겪고&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">있는 우리에게는 편견과 고정관념이 아닌 우리 안에 인류애의 발현이 필요한 시점이다.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">"우리는 적이 아니라 친구다. 우리는 서로 적이 되어서는 안된다. 감정이 상했다고 서로 애정의 유대관계를 끊어서도 안된다. 분명 선량한 본성이 다시 기억의 신비로운 현을 튕길 것이다." - Abraham Lincoln</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">예술이 이 시대에 무엇을 할 수 있을까? 예술은 서로 말이 다른 사람들도 감정을 느끼고 이해할 수 있는 소통의 창구이다. 말이 아닌 이미지로 우리의 마음을 깨주고 서로를 더 연결해 줄 수 있는 역할을 할 것이다. 모든 프레임을 벗어나 사랑하자고 이야기하는 작가 The fool은 작품을 통해 우리가 사랑을 찾아가는 과정과 다양한 모습의 사랑을 표현한다.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">또한 David Kracov 작가의 &lsquo;Book of Life&rsquo; 작품은 각각의 나비들은 체르노빌의 핵 재앙에서 탈출한 2,547명의 어린이들을 상징하고 있으며,</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">이 책의 페이지에는 아우슈비츠에서 숨진 어린이들이 쓴 시와 일기, 노래 등이 실려 있는데, 당시 13살이었던 파벨프리드만의 시, '나비'가 주를 이루고 있다.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">죽음 앞에서도 삶의 찬가를 보냈던 그 소년을 기리며..</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">이번 전시는 &lsquo;Love is the Key&rsquo;라는 주제로 위와 같은 작가들 표현한 다양한 사랑의 이미지들을 보여주려고 한다. 지금은 우리가 가지고 있는 편견과 관습을 버리고 우리 안에 있는 인류애를 발현하여 서로를 바라봐야 할 때가 아닌가 싶다&hellip;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">우리의 지친 영혼을 위해..</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">프랑스 화가 &lsquo;조르주 마튜&rsquo; 는 예술가가 할 수 있는 것에 대해서 아래와 같이 말했다.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="line-height: 160%;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">&ldquo;철학자는 고대 세계를 지배했다. 과학자는 오늘날 세계를 잠정적으로 지배한다. 모든 것은 내일의 세계를 지배할 사람이 예술가라는 것을 암시한다.&rdquo; - Georges Mathieu</span></p>
