Exhibition editorial and data policy

How MYMU shows sources, latest checks, and correction options for public exhibition information.

Published 2026-07-29 · Last reviewed 2026-07-29

MYMU maintains this policy for public exhibition, venue, and guide pages on mymu.app. Questions and correction requests can be sent to support@mymu.app.

1. What this policy is for

MYMU connects exhibition discovery with visit records. Public pages therefore need to be useful before a visit and trustworthy enough to revisit later. We explain where the information came from, when it was checked, and what may still change.

2. Sources and attribution

Exhibition records may be assembled from organizer or venue pages, public cultural data, and other providers that preserve a verifiable source URL. Exhibition details link to an official page or another traceable provider URL whenever available. We do not present information without a source as confirmed. When an image requires adjacent credit or has unclear reuse rights, MYMU omits it from reusable cards and social metadata until the credit treatment is reviewed.

3. How we check and update information

Before showing an exhibition, MYMU checks that its dates, venue, and source can be confirmed. Exhibition details show the latest verification date when available, and current information is reviewed regularly. Information that is incomplete, outdated, or cannot be confirmed may be hidden until it has been checked again.

4. Collections and ordering

Current, ending-soon, city, monthly, and free-exhibition pages are assembled from the information available to MYMU. Ending-soon and guide collections generally show the nearest closing date first. A free collection includes only exhibitions whose admission is explicitly confirmed as free. City and district pages state the area they cover. These lists are not paid rankings and do not judge artistic quality.

5. What can still change

Opening hours, closures, reservation requirements, admission prices, and programs can change after verification. Each exhibition detail shows its source and latest verification date when available. Readers should confirm the organizer's current notice before travelling or purchasing a ticket. MYMU labels broader district discovery areas and does not imply a business presence in every neighborhood shown on the site.

6. Guides, authorship, and updates

MYMU guides are published by MYMU. Time-sensitive guides show when their exhibition information was last checked. We publish a guide only when it offers useful, sourced information and avoid producing location pages that merely swap a place name.

7. Corrections and accountability

Send the MYMU page URL, the field that is wrong, the corrected information, and a supporting source to support@mymu.app. We review the public information, update or hide it when warranted, and change its verification date only after checking the evidence.
